Having to spend the beginning of my 20’s in Milan has always been the greatest decision that I ever made, not only it broadens my view about myself and about life, Italy gave me more. Italy is my second home and my second family. Never have I received love this big and this strong. Now we are facing total #lockdown in order to combat the spread of #coronavirus," ungkap Abi.
Hal itu membuat diirnya mengurungkan diri untuk pulang ke Indonesia dan memilih untuk bertahan di Italia sampai keadaan kembali kondusif.
"And I for myself choose not to try to comeback to Indonesia until the lockdown is finished on the 3rd of April (accidentally my birthday). Who knows that 3rd April this year would be such an important date in Italy. In the beginning I was here for Milan Fashion Week and 2 of my films are screening in Europe this March, but due to this force major of course we cancelled all of our travel plans. I also choose to stay in Italy for the safety of my friends and family in Indonesia. And to all of my friends all over the world who are fighting this situation, I hope we can pass this all together ," tambahnya.
Abigail bahkan akan merayakan ulang tahunnya di Italia dan membatalkan segala rencananya.
Selama bertahan di Italia, Abigail terus memberikan informasi tentang kondisi disana.
"i even found my love for myself while I was living in Italy. And now all Italy has turned to a red zone and we are all lockdown because of corona virus emergency," tulis Abigail.
Ia menjelaskan bahwa keadaan ini akan bertahan hingga 3 April mendatang.
